No cookies, no tracking
This is a simple static website. It sets no cookies and uses no trackers, no analytics and no advertising. We do not build profiles of visitors.
Hosting
The site is hosted by Vercel Inc. Like any web server, the host may record technical data when you load a page, such as your IP address, the date and time, the page requested and your browser type. These logs are used to deliver the site and keep it secure, are handled under the host's own privacy policy (vercel.com/legal/privacy-notice), and are not used by us to identify you.
If you write to us
If you email us, we use your address and your message only to reply and to continue the conversation you started. We do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not share your details with anyone. Email is handled with Gmail (Google) and the site is hosted by Vercel: both may process data in the United States, under the safeguards provided by the GDPR (such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses). We delete messages when they are no longer needed. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering you, or steps you ask us to take.
If you send a gift
Gifts through PayPal are processed by PayPal, which shares with us your name, email address and the amount, under its own privacy notice. We use these details only to keep a record of gifts received and to thank you. Crypto transfers are recorded on a public blockchain: anyone can see the sending address, the amount and the time. We do not try to link an address to a person.
Your rights
Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive it in a portable format. To do so, write to meneguzzosilvio@gmail.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority; in Italy this is the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it).
